More people have become wealthy through owning real estate than any other means in the history of mankind. But as a general rule, real estate is not inexpensive. For many, this may be the biggest purchase in their lifetime. So it is essential to get it right. This starts with retaining the absolute best practitioner in their profession. This is what I strive to be.

So why choose me?

I am a Licensed Real Estate Broker and founder of True Real Estate d/b/a Sarasota Buyer Agent, a Licensed Real Estate Instructor and Exclusive Buyer Broker/Agent serving the Sarasota area for over twenty years. The extent of my practical experience in Sarasota real estate is indicative of the level of service you can expect.

Market knowledge – All I do is focus on home buyers. So I visit lots of homes and have a very good knowledge of the local real estate market.

My formal education is extensive. I am a graduate of New York University (1989) and have earned more professional certifications and designations than any other licensed real estate professional in the State of Florida (possibly nationally).

Many potential properties are Off – Market or For Sale by Owner. I am a sleuth when it comes to finding these. I leave no stone unturned and have a knack for uncovering homes that are not listed on the MLS, Zillow, Realtor.com, Redfin, etc. My background and experience makes private sellers comfortable and willing to do business!

Since I never list homes or work with sellers, all of my time is dedicated to helping buyers. This is important because most Realtors spend the lion’s share of their time marketing to get more listings. Then more time is spent on things like listing appointments, open houses, etc.

Specializing in buyer agency allows me to be focused and dedicated to helping home buyers much more effectively than a jack of all trades.

I leave early so I always arrive 15 minutes prior to showings, appointments and meetings.

I look forward to working everyday and waking up at 4:00am. The early bird gets the worm! I love what I do and am in perfect health.

There is no bait & switch with me! I do not have agents, assistants or employees. I do everything myself. So you will be working directly with an expert at all times, from first contact to closing and beyond.

I have been a member of the National Association Of Realtors(NAR), the Florida Association of Realtors(FAR) and the Sarasota Association of Realtors(which in 2014 became the Realtor Association of Sarasota Manatee) for well over two decades.

In 2013, I was inducted into the NAR’s Real Estate Buyers Agent Council (REBAC) Hall of Fame.

I am an expert in all types of residential real estate and specialize in first home buyers, relocation, second homes, vacant land and investment/income properties. So no matter what your goals are, I can help.

Quality over Quantity. I never bite off more than I can chew. The more buyers an agent is working with, the less time for each! My policy is first come, first serve, no matter the price range. My best advice is to call me as soon as you’ve completed reading this page.

Single Agent vs Transaction Broker & Client vs Customer. Dual Agency is when an agent represents both sides of any transaction. This is illegal in Florida! As an EBA providing you with representation and fiduciary duties, I act as a Single Agent and you are my client. All the other agents act as Transaction Brokers and have customers who they do NOT represent. Transaction Brokers represent the transaction, not you! So while most consumers think their agent has their back, this is, unfortunately, not the case. Be sure to ask for and sign the Single Agent Brokerage Relationship Agreement, as without this I am just considered a transaction broker!
